On 7th December, the 2017 ZGC Forum themed “Innovation, Intelligence, New Economy”, commenced in Beijing.

It is understood that this ZGC Forum consists of a main forum and three parallel sub-forums. The topics of the parallel sub-forums are respectively “New Economic Development Forum and 2017 Shengjing Global Innovation Award”, “Zhongguancun on the Belt and Road” and “Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Revolution."

The forum brought together outstanding experts and scholars from around the world, government officials and founders of many companies. During the morning's main forum, Franklin Urteaga, the former US White House Innovation Consultant, OIGETIT co-founder and CEO, and Zhang Yiming, today's headline founder and CEO, addressed the forum respectively.

In the "Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Transformation" link, Yu Kai, founder of Horizon Robotics, Huang Xiaoqing, founder of Data Technology, and Shan Shiguang, founder of SeetaTech, gave wonderful speeches.

As one of the important activities of this forum, “New Economic Development Forum and 2017 Shengjing Global Innovation Awards TOP21 Award Ceremony” was held in the parallel sub-forum. The 2017 Shengjing Global Innovation Awards TOP21 list was also released here. This award focuses on five hot areas, including medical health, cutting-edge technology, new energy and new materials, pan-consumer entertainment and enterprise-level applications, focusing on the global A-round C round market value of less than 1 billion US dollars, the most potential unicorn companies.

It is understood that this year's grand prize lasted for one year. In the four major regions of China, the United States, Israel and Europe, it attracted more than 100 first-line investment institutions from around the world. Each investment institution nominated 8-10 outstanding innovative enterprises in the industry. Among the thousands of outstanding projects, the global TOP21 was finally selected.

On the same day, the forum also released the Zhongguancun Innovation and Entrepreneurship Young Heroes list.

The Zhongguancun Innovation and Entrepreneurship Young Hero Promotion Campaign is an important list promotion activity sponsored by the Zhongguancun Social Organization Association and organized by the Zhongguancun Talents Association under the support of the Zhongguancun Management Committee.
