Khan Mohammad is currently the Science Counselor of the Embassy of Pakistan in China. His main responsibilities are to promote bilateral STI cooperation by maintaining close liaison with STI agencies (Ministries, R&D Organizations and Authorities, Universities, Academies, Associations, Forums, S&T Parks, Technology Transfer Center, T&V Colleges and Technology Companies ect.) in China, pursue science diplomacy and represent Pakistan at various bilateral and multilateral S&T events in China, follow up and submit regular reports on the implementation of various S&T projects and initiatives with China, submit reports on China S&T policy level reforms, STI Ecosystem and R&D funding mechanism and make recommendation to Pakistan, seek and create opportunities in China for capacity building and academic exchanges for Pakistani institutions and personnel, develop contacts with private S&T enterprises for exploring Chinese private investment in Pakistan S&T and R&D sectors, etc.
